| Lance McNeel was born in Galveston, TX in 1956. In his youth, Lance developed a keen interest in oil painting and he took instruction from local artists. Lance received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. Most recently he has studied drawing and painting at the Glassell School of Art in the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Tx.
